In this paper, a two-dimensional (2-D) transversemagnetic (TM) mode finite difference time domain (FDTD)method is used to simulate the indoor radio wave propagationand model the indoor ultra wideband (UWB) channel. Themodulated Gaussian pulse, which is satisfied the UWB signaldefinition and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) indoorlimit spectral mask, is used as the UWB excitation signal.
